Parental participation is central to the school
The aim is to create a strong educational community around the school and its pedagogical approach, based on mutual trust between educators, management and parents. The ultimate goal is the well-being of the child: A thriving adult community supports thriving children. Parental participation has a dual objective:

To create a genuine educational community between the school and families.
02.
To actively assist the pedagogical team.
Each family is thus committed to participating:
- at events organized by the school (back-to-school meetings, individual follow-up appointments, school parties, toy drive, flea markets, fundraisers…)
- in certain tasks based on their skills and interests (accompanying outings, cooking workshops, gardening, music, dance, photography, reading…)
Bilingualism
Being open to others and the world
Today, speaking several languages is an undeniable asset, almost a necessity.
Openness to others, openness to the world: language proficiency increases the range of possibilities for each individual. Furthermore, numerous researchers praise the beneficial effects of bilingualism on cognitive and neuropsychological levels, such as increased selective attention or greater mental flexibility.
At Les Petits Plus, children benefit from English immersion throughout the day. A dedicated staff member speaks and leads small workshops in English, as well as songs and reading times.
Hours
After-school care 16:30 – 18:00
As part of the leisure activities program, Les Petits Plus offers after-school activities every school evening between 16:30 and 18:00. Starting with a free play period, it includes a daily artistic or meditative activity: yoga, theater, music or dance. We believe that children are constantly learning and that the richness of their environment and interactions allows them to grow. We continue to support them in these values until the end of the day.

Maria Montessori opened her first Children’s House for street children in 1907 in the working-class district of San Lorenzo, on the outskirts of Rome. From the beginning, far from considering it an elitist project, Maria Montessori wanted her pedagogical approach to be available to everyone, regardless of social class, origin, or religion.
In this spirit, Les Petits Plus offers tiered pricing based on a calculation of income and situation, called the family quotient.
It should be noted, that Les Petits Plus is an independent school and does not receive any public or private funding. Therefore, the school relies solely on tuition fees paid by families to maintain its financial stability.
