Our mission: Reinvent education!

Les Petits Plus is a bilingual alternative school and leisure club located in Lyon 7th.

We believe that education should be synonymous with personal growth and creativity, solidarity, and democracy.
Our pedagogical approach brings together different methods (Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Freinet, etc.) and focuses on children’s interpersonal skills (emotional management, developing a spirit of cooperation and empathy and long-term development of critical thinking).
We prepare children for the world into which they will evolve and make them aware of the importance of “doing their part” by identifying problems and solutions on the scale of social change.
We want to enable people of all ages from different socio-professional categories, cultures, nationalities and age groups to coexist in the same place.

Finally, we introduce children to respect for the environment, by showing them every day that there are things they can do to change things, and that eco-friendly actions are possible on an individual level, at their school, within their family and in all their actions in the community.
