Directed by Anne Jochum, ‘Tous dehors!’ (Get Outside!) is a documentary that offers an immersion into the world of childhood through observation sequences of children in their wanderings, their free play explorations, their interactions, and their experiences with the living world and nature. Alternating with these sequences, professionals 1 highlight the challenges of child development and construction, which are currently being weakened by sedentary indoor lifestyles
These new behaviors could indeed severely impact health and psyche, and in the longer term, social cohesion. Realizing that the living world is our common good should push us towards multiple and varied experiences in Nature, even in urban environments.
